Stool 01, designed by FRAMA Studio in 2020, draws its inspiration from the enduring seating found in Nordic auditoriums and churches throughout centuries. It embodies a timeless simplicity, reflecting the hallmark qualities of Danish design. This stool is conceived as a piece that is built to last, intended to be cherished and passed down through generations.
The construction of Stool 01 is robust, featuring a frame crafted from solid birch and a seat made of birch plywood, all finished with a durable lacquer. The natural grain of the wood is allowed to show through, contributing to the stool's authentic character. Over time, a beautiful patina will develop, further enhancing its timeless expression and underscoring its solid quality. The stool is available in Natural Birch, Warm Brown Birch, and Dark Brown Birch, and in two heights: H 65 × W 38.7 × D 39.5 cm and H 76 × W 38.7 × D 39.5 cm.
